Will different brands of paint mix well?

I'm looking to buy an oil painting kit and the brand of paint is Royal Langnickel. But I want to buy a few separate colors that are Winsor Newton. Will they mesh well together?Will different brands of paint mix well?
of course, as long as they are the same medium I bought different brands and there are very little difference. oils are oils anyway. they can't mix well with water based paints though.Will different brands of paint mix well?
Most artists use colours from different manufacturers and use them together. As long as it is all the same type of paint there is no problem (the only difficulty occurs when dafties try and mix oils with acylics, not a good idea).
