Just curious what people prefer and why. If you don't like a certain brand for some reason tell me about that too. What brand of paint do you prefer?
I only use Benjamin Moore paint. It's the best paint on the market, along with Sherwin-Williams. I've used most paints over the years. Behr isn't too bad for the price. Glidden is garbage. Sears Easy Living is actually pretty decent paint. But to me, nothing holds a candle to Ben Moore. Their Super Spec line covers incredibly well, and isn't a lot more expensive than Behr. Hope this helps. What brand of paint do you prefer?
I have been a pro painter for 30+ years. Benjamin Moore is by far the best paint in the U.S.. They have 2 lines of paint, their super-spec is formulated for the professional who doesn't need fancy labels etc. and is less expensive then their top of the line. Super-spec performs perfectly well in most applications. If you're considering an ultra deep color then I suggest you spend the money on their Aura line. The Aura line uses a special pigment technology that creates a coating that has great coverage, washability, etc. You will pay a premium for it but won't be disappointed.
dutch boy is good. I will only buy it when it is on sale. Its the price of the product. Does it clean up well, will it cover using less coats of paint . I found that some store brands can do the job just as good as the name brands
