Which brand of fabric paint is the best?

I plan on doing some calligraphy in purple on a black shirt, and I want to find purple fabric paint that will not fade or chip on a black shirt.Which brand of fabric paint is the best?
Well, I can tell you who makes out-of-this world fabric paints and has been for years, decades in fact.....I hope you can mail order it....I am so fortunate to live in the same city as this talented lady.


I have used her paint even on extremely stretchy fabrics and the paint doesn't break apart.....even the artist (Jackie) was amazed at that.

She makes the standard white and black plus fabulous metallic colours in gold and silver etc. The colours are actually nicer than they appear on her website chart.


One of my faves it a lightly metallic called Paw Pink.

EDIT.....should you purchase from her, tell her your plans to put purple on black because it may be necessary to do a layer or two of white underneath.
