well if u use water soluble oils artisan by winsor and newton is the only one that acts liek a real oil color. now for traditional oil colors, i think i like gamblin the best because of pure color, and not too expensive. now if u can afford it get old holland, although i still think the cost is too outrageous. gamblins, cerulean blue is about 24 dollars and old hollands is $83. big differnce.What is the best oil paint brand?
Daler Rowney is good...
Van Gogh brand i love it its so creamy and buttery
Winsor also pretty good too.
And anything with egg tempera paints are also good too. . . I try different brand and mix them up to create different effects. So just experiment with different ones until you like what you like. Well good luck!
