im a beginner too and i got a tippmann A-5 thats a good paintball gun unless you want a speedball gun get an spart parts ION,but im a big scenario junky but all in all the A-5 is the best beginner gun
my son has an old tippman pro carbine that he has used for years. almost any gun by tippman is going to work well. spyder also makes good affordable markers
