Is it ok to use a different brand of paint than the brand of primer I used?

I've primed my walls with CIL brand paint from Canadian Tire but for the colour I'm thinking of getting Sico paint from Rona.

That won't be a problem will it?Is it ok to use a different brand of paint than the brand of primer I used?
Brand name is not a problem as long as the paint %26amp; primer quality was still there. Is it ok to use a different brand of paint than the brand of primer I used?
No there shouldn't be any problem with that. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever used the same brand of primer and paint.
No problem if the primer is for the same type of paint. Some primers are for both latex and oil based. Make sure you do not put oil over latex primer.
