Paint brands?

what are famour paint brands for interior or exterior?Paint brands?
I have used Behr, Ralph Lauren, Mautz and Benjamin Moore for interior. I like them all except for Mautz. I like Benjamin Moore best but it costs more.Paint brands?
My husband is a housepainter. The ONLY paint he uses is Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint - and he has hundreds of satisfied customers.

It costs more than store-brand paint, but, this is one area where you truly ';get what you pay for';. You don't have your house painted often - inside or out - so, don't cheap out on this expense. You'll regret it. A great deal of his work comes from homeowners who previously made that choice and are now having to have the whole job done over again.

Good for us - bad for them.
After applying Thousands of gallons of paint, I suggest there are a few. It's truly a matter of personal experience and convenience for many people.

I buy Behr,,,from HD

I also like Sherwin Williams

Porter

Color Wheel, in some cases.

Brands such as Glidden are acceptable, and less expensive, though I don't use that brand,,, or STORE brands often sold at the low end price.

You get what you pay for is valid.

In any case I also advise this...Latex is fine. I prefer SATIN, as it has more ';agents'; (Pigments and Polymers) in it, is less porous that FLAT, and has decent ';Cleanability';

Oils are OK too in certain applications, especially as exteriors, or for exterior trim, but are more toxic, take longer to cure, and have odor issues if used indoors.

I work on million dollar homes and we always use porter paints
Sherwin Williams,Sears Weatherbeater.
Look for recent issues of Consumer Reports at the library. They did a comparison.
You'll have to do some research because you will have some personal preferences for your situation.

I've been recommending C2 paint for several years. It is available at independent paint stores. This paint is a superior product because it has the most pigment which is the source of the colour, therefore the colours are more deep and rich. This is very important depending on the colours you are looking for. The paint store will also match colours from any other paint company with their superior formulation and they can custom match anything you want. For example if you have a cushion that you want to match they will custom formulate to match the cushion colour.

This paint is also a little more expensive, but as others have said in this product you get what you pay for.

Good Luck!
