I am pregnant and preparing to paint with Walmart Dutchboy brand paint. Is that particular paint safe to smell?

I just wanted to know if anyone out there has already wondered the same thing and found out the answer. Dutchboy brand paint from Walmart. Is it safe for pregnant women to paint and be around the smell of it in an enclosed air conditioned (no windows open) room?I am pregnant and preparing to paint with Walmart Dutchboy brand paint. your best bet is to get someone else to do it for you.. its never good to inhale paint or any type of fumes. just remember, everytime you take a breathe, your baby takes a breathe. whatever you inhale, baby inhales.I am pregnant and preparing to paint with Walmart Dutchboy brand paint. i am not sure, but i know that if you tell them it is going into a nursery they might be able to suggest a safer paint. lowes %26amp; home depot have paints for nurseries. i think they are fume safe %26amp; made with SAFE materials AND completely washable-so once the kid grows up %26amp; decided to color all over it. :)
Get yourself a mask to wear and leave the door open. I don't know anything about paint brands but I painted the nursery and half the house with Home Depot's paint. I wore a mask and made sure the windows were open. Another option is to have someone else do it for you if your that worried.
They were painting at my work and I asked my doctor the same question. My doctor told me as long as it's not oil based paint then you and your baby will be fine. Think of all the mothers that paint their baby's nursery while pregnant.
No paint fumes are ok to inhale especially when pregnant! Get your husband or other relative to paint for you and open some windows!
